This professional app complements the esteemed reference work by Schulze and Dingler, encompassing 804 European species and featuring an extensive collection of 2,837 songs and calls derived from the acclaimed 17 CD set. Developed in collaboration between Sunbird Images and the German publisher Edition AMPLE, this application represents an impressive compilation of auditory resources for the region.

The app facilitates browsing of all species according to their taxonomical classification, enabling easy comparison between them. Some tracks include several calls, which can be selected and played directly without fast-forwarding—culminating in a total of 2,837 bird sounds. Each recording is accompanied by explanations, with bird names provided in English, Latin, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and more.
